Game Boy Color
This little device brought the 9 year old Game Boy 5 years into the future. While it did have a new color screen it had very little else. There was that infra red port that about two games used but that was pretty much it. Of course, there were still some great games for it, it's just a little tough to find them through all the garbage that plagued the GBC's short lifespan.
