Sega's ill-fated 32-bit machine. The tale of the Saturn is a sad one indeed, rushed out the door and failing to deliver on most of Sega's promises. The Saturn was the turning point in the life of Sega, the turning point on whether it would remain a console developer or just go completely third party. We all know how the rest of the story goes, the Saturn failed to gain any real market strength and by the time the Dreamcast hit the scene the damage had been done and Sega's fate had been sealed.
